For decades now, the Swedes have stood for first-class, independent and heavy prog metal that appeals to more than just progressive fans. A still slightly dark note gives their songs that certain something; the combination of melancholic atmosphere and progressive, powerful metal works just as well on record as it does live, which you can finally see for yourself again in August.
